NOVEMBER 2017 Piano News
Important Changes! NO Saturday Group Theory class this month . Please note change and attend a Wednesday group.
No Lessons! Wednesday Nov. 22,Thanksgiving Thursday Nov. 25, and Saturday Nov.25th will be holidays with no lessons on those dates. We will have lessons on Monday, Nov. 27th and continue on through until Christmas vacation
Competitions Be sure to attend our Competitions this month. We hope you’ll be participating or attending!
Performance Party is Sat. Nov.11th at 11 AM and Jr. Div. is Sat. Nov. 11th at 1PM. PPP and Junior Division will be at Jacobs Music Hall in Willow Grove.
Senior Division will be Saturday December 2nd and will be held at Jacobs Music in Willow Grove, Pa. at 11 AM in the morning. (Note time change!)
Please include $8 per song played at Competition with your Nov. tuition payment. Thank you!
All events at Jacobs Music Hall in Willow Grove, PA. Judy has maps if needed!
Everyone who is participating will need to bring 3 copies of their music-with the measures numbered-to Competition. Competition is a “dress-up” event-young ladies, please wear dresses-young men should wear long sleeved shirts. A tie is extra nice. Thank you!
Refreshments We need volunteers to sign up to bring snacks and drinks. Please let Judy know if you could help. Thanks!
Judy has preparation sheets and maps available in the Music Room By having an event to prepare for is a great motivational tool for your young person. It’s fun and teaches them performing skills. Be sure to be a part of the fun. Come and support the students!
We are all looking forward to our performances with great anticipation. A lot of hard work and many hours of practice have gone into the preparation for the Competitions and we can’t wait to do our best!
Piano Purchase: Many of you have asked us about buying a piano. Please be careful about buying pianos from the classifieds. We will always refer you to a good reputable dealer and encourage the purchase of a good instrument. If you need a piano-we can help. Wow-what a great Christmas present for the family!
Thanksgiving is this month and we are all thankful for our students and their parents. We appreciate your support and encouragement throughout the year.
