Lessons present a balance of singing, moving, drumming, writing, and reading activities-together with playing at the keyboard. Keyboard Adventures is carefully planned and sequenced to meet the developmental needs of the students. The small group of children will learn a collection of songs with associated activities. Singing will encourage tonal development as well as establish a keyboard repertoire. Moving and drumming activities will establish the body as a rhythmic instrument. Keyboard activities will establish technique, repertoire, and application of a musical personality. A 12-week semester of Keyboard Adventures consists of 60-minute group lessons. The registration fee of $35 covers the cost of materials and is non-refundable. The tuition fee for the twelve-week Keyboard Adventures semester is $195. Keyboard Adventures is offered at the GrandStaff Piano Studio in Quakertown, Pa.
