Lessons present a balance of singing, moving, drumming, writing, and reading activities-together with playing at the keyboard. Keyboard Adventures is carefully planned and sequenced to meet the developmental needs of the students. The small group of children will learn a collection of songs with associated activities. Singing will encourage tonal development as well as establish a keyboard repertoire. Moving and drumming activities will establish the body as a rhythmic instrument. Keyboard activities will establish technique, repertoire, and application of a musical personality. A 12-week semester of Keyboard Adventures consists of 60-minute group lessons. The registration fee of $35 covers the cost of materials and is non-refundable. The tuition fee for the twelve-week Keyboard Adventures semester is $195. Keyboard Adventures is offered at the GrandStaff Piano Studio in Quakertown, Pa. KinderKeysKinderkeys—A division of The GrandStaff Piano Studio Quakertown, Pa. 18951 (215-536-5147) KinderKeys is a program of pre-piano and pre-violin for 3 to 5 year-olds where children become familiar with the violin and the piano keyboard. Each student receives an individual lesson at the piano and violin. Each student learns rhythm with the rhythm band, metronome, Omnichord, and MusicMaker harp. Every student participates in interactive, “hands on” music activities on the giant “Big-Foot Keyboard”. (This large floor keyboard makes animal sounds, plays songs, plays notes, and ”speaks”!) Students have an action packed, fun-filled one hour class per week-plus crafts and snacks!.There is a 12-week semester in the Fall and Spring each year! Early registration is strongly recommended since our enrollment is limited. Please call Judy for more information.
